No one saved them, because they were terrible, and because there were so many copies around. They transcended fiction and literature. They were "free box by the junk store door." I wonder if we'll live to an age when there are no more crates of Readers Digest Condensed Books. It could happen.<br /><br />I really wanted to get to Canada this summer and read someone else's copy of Raleigh on the Rocks. I feel like July, which usually races by, has come to a complete stop.
