Since they were ubiquitous at every used bookstore throughout the 80s, I assumed they'd be easier to find as well. Maybe we should be running a parallel blog called Searching for Mr. Rohmer, since if I'm having trouble locating what is essentially one of his most popular books, what will happen in 6 months when we're down to the more obscure stuff? I've tried a few used bookstores in Montreal with no luck; Brian has suggested a thrift store that I had wanted to try but didn't make it to over the Xmas holidays. I hope to get there soon but I'm not holding my breath that I will be any luckier then.
